This lab specializes in human-centered methods across several key themes:

• Digital Wellbeing: Researching interfaces that go beyond standard "screentime" tools to give users more agency and control over their online time.
• AR Storytelling: Collaborating with Native American partners (specifically the Ohlone Tribe) to create immersive augmented reality (AR) tours of the SCU campus.
• Research Tools: Developing guidelines and tools to help non-technical researchers scrape and analyze data from mobile app stores.
• Social Media Reform: Redesigning social media interfaces to improve user agency and reduce negative impacts.
