Supporting the SCU Neuroscience Research & Innovation Showcase

The Santa Clara University Neuroscience Club is raising funds to host a Student Neuroscience Research and Innovation Showcase, an event designed to highlight student and faculty research while connecting neuroscience with entrepreneurship and emerging startups.

At SCU, many students are involved in neuroscience research across fields such as cellular neuroscience, genetics, psychology, and brain health. However, students rarely have opportunities to present their work to a broader audience or engage directly with innovators translating neuroscience research into real-world applications.

The Neuroscience Research and Innovation Showcase will create an interactive space where students can display research posters, discuss their work with peers and faculty, and explore how neuroscience research connects to startups and emerging technologies.

The event will feature:

● Student research posters highlighting neuroscience projects and discoveries
● Faculty and graduate student research presentations
● Startup tables where student founders can share neuroscience-related innovations
● Opportunities for students to learn about research pathways and entrepreneurship

Funds raised will support the materials, space, and logistical needs required to host this event and provide a platform for students to share their work.

By supporting this initiative, donors help create opportunities for students to present research, exchange ideas, and explore the intersection of neuroscience, medicine, and innovation.

Our goal is to establish this showcase as a recurring event at Santa Clara University, strengthening the neuroscience community and encouraging collaboration between students, researchers, and founders.
