About

Providing a Community of Respect and Self-Defense

SCU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu represents a means of bringing people together. Through this club, many of us have come to forge bonds close enough to be a second family. It is through careful and sincere instruction from our President, Kate Rice, that we’re able to learn various positional advantages, submission techniques, and ways of maneuvering around our opponents.

Your generous donation will go towards funding new mats purchases to better enhance the rolling experience of our club. In addition, it will also go towards new gi’s that will give more people access to practicing different techniques. With these funds, we will have more opportunities for team-bonding events to help foster a stronger community.
