Support Engaged Research Opportunities for Students
Gifts to the Department of Religious Studies support unique research and mentoring opportunities. Thank you for your ongoing support to make these research and conferences opportunities possible to our undergraduate students.
Religious Studies Majors have the opportunity to pursue and publish research with faculty members. For example, two students who took Professor Roberto Mata’s course on martyrdom continued their research and produced a peer-reviewed article that will be published in the coming months.
Another student worked on research with Professor Sarita Tamayo-Moraga and together they presented their research at the Western Region Conference of the American Academy of Religion.
