Support students' exploration of the brain and mind.
The Neuroscience Program reached another milestone this year—we hired our first full-time faculty member, Dr. Andrew Evans, who studies lifestyle risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease and who teaches the “Neuroscience of Healthy Aging.”
We continue to grow and now have nearly 200 majors, many of whom work in research labs on campus, who co-author papers with our faculty, and who travel to international conferences to present their results.
With your support on this Day of Giving, we can ensure that more students are able to participate in transformative research and internship experiences on and off campus where they can put the skills and concepts they learn in the classroom into practice and join our alumni in a variety of different fields including medicine, research, technology, law, and others.
Day of Giving is a wonderful opportunity to help grow the newest program (and eighth-largest major) in the College of Arts and Sciences at Santa Clara University. We appreciate your support, which will truly enhance the career development opportunities for our students and prepare them for life beyond SCU.
Thank you!
