Women’s Basketball
Santa Clara Women’s Basketball continues to build strong momentum as one of the rising programs in the West Coast Conference. Under the leadership of first-year head coach Loree Payne, the Broncos delivered one of the most successful seasons in program history while continuing to represent Santa Clara with excellence in competition, academics, and leadership.
The Broncos finished the season 24–10 overall and 13–5 in WCC play, tying the program record for conference wins. The team set multiple program records, including points in a season, points per game, field goal attempts, three-pointers, three-point attempts, rebounds, and blocks. Four Broncos were named to All-West Coast Conference teams, and the program earned a postseason berth in the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT).
