Softball
Santa Clara Softball continues to build one of the most exciting programs in the West Coast Conference while developing student-athletes who excel in competition, in the classroom, and as leaders within the Bronco community.
Under the leadership of sixth-year head coach Gina Carbonatto, the Broncos are building on historic momentum following the program’s first West Coast Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. The record-setting 2025 season included a school-record 32 wins, and that success has carried into the current season with the Broncos opening conference play by winning their first two WCC series against LMU and Oregon State, continuing the program’s strong upward trajectory.
The program’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the field. Last season, two Broncos were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, recognizing the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined achievements in athletics and academics, while 13 student-athletes earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
