Support the Leaders of Tomorrow's Church
Today, we are forming the compassionate, joyful ministers who will lead our communities tomorrow. Whether they are answering the call to serve as a future hospital chaplain, a youth minister in an underserved parish, or accompany seekers in their faith journey, our students are ready to put the Gospel into action.
Gifts to our program directly support scholarships for students who would otherwise be unable to answer their ministerial call. They also support students who may need a little extra help purchasing books or other educational supplies.
Here are just some the ways this program matters:
"My Jesuit education at Santa Clara University both as an undergraduate and graduate student gave me the foundation to make the Catholic faith accessible, relatable, and inclusive for this generation of high school students in the Bay Area. Through my formation and education in the GPPM, in particular, I have been inspired to center my vocation as a relational ministry--a ministry of presence." - Ryan ‘14, High School Campus Minister
"As a restorative justice student, the GPPM has made the opportunity to become closer to those in confinement possible. It has shown me that everybody in life is vulnerable and worthy of both love and compassion, even those who have made mistakes. The GPPM has taught me no one is above God's love and that everybody deserves a second chance in the eyes of Jesus Christ." - Matthew, Current Student
“I am deeply grateful to be able to witness the impact this program has not only on students, but on the communities they serve. Together, with your gift of support, we will be able to offer students the scholarships they need in order to say ‘yes’ to become a servant leader in tomorrow’s Church.” - Dr. Melissa Ursin, Executive Director, Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries
